Vancouver Destination Wedding Photographers

When we met with one of our favourite wedding planners in the city for dinner, Sandy from DreamGroup, she spoke about a wedding that she was planning + we knew we needed to photograph it. An intimate wedding atop Grouse Mountain with a Downton Abbey feel, decorated by Delovely Creative and a helicopter entrance. Yes, Doug + Tim would be arriving to their mountain top wedding in a helicopter...and the best part, one of us got to ride with them. I'm sure you are wondering how we made the decision as to which one of us would get to experience it all. I would like to say it was because I beat Mike at an arm wrestle but really it's because he is the nicest man ever + he wanted me to go. How did I get so lucky? Like for all weddings, I was obsessed with watching the weather leading up to the day. If the weather was not great the helicopter plan would be cancelled which would have been super disappointing for Doug + Tim. Thankfully we were given the most perfect day...and it was just that. Although we had not met Doug or Tim until the morning of their wedding, we instantly fell in love with them + it was an honour to document the day they got to express their love + commitment to one another in front of their closest family + friends. Congrats Doug + Tim :)
