Any day now, these two amazing friends will become parents for the first time. We are beyond excited for them + the anticipation is killing us as we patiently wait for him to arrive. There is no doubt that Scott + Alyssa will be the coolest parents on the block...or that Captain Cooke (the nickname given to him) will be the coolest kid around. I think it's also pretty obvious that he will be the cutest. Alyssa has been in front of my camera several times through out this decade long journey + I was excited to make it happen again...this time with her adorable little bump. Scott + Alyssa were clear that they did not want the 'typical' maternity photos. They wanted their pictures to be different, a bit on the strange side, something that they could see putting on their wall as an art piece. Scott had the idea of using a carpet store + then something very white + simple and incorporating some items you would not expect to see during a maternity shoot...hence the deer head + rabbit traps. Random for most but fitting for these guys as Scott is a farm boy who loves to hunt. I love what the four of us created together.

Scott + Alyssa, we love you + are so excited to be on this journey with you. You are going to be the best parents + Captain Cooke will be the most blessed little guy having parents who love life as much as you guys do. Life is going to change but it's only going to be for the better!
