Jeff + Cat

In some ways our trip to Iceland seems like many moons ago. And in others, it feels like we just returned home, exhausted but feeling more alive then ever from one of the best adventures. When we decided that Iceland would be our next big trip we put the feelers out to some friends to see if they were up for an adventure. No takers. Then one day we met up with a group of photographer friends and casually asked one of the couples Jeff + Cat (who just so happened to be recently engaged + had asked us to photograph their wedding) if they wanted to do their engagement photos in Iceland. What started out as joke quickly escalated into reality + before long we were booking flights, a camper van + preparing for our little adventure. We didn't know what to expect but it far exceeded anything we were imagining this trip would be. Jeff + Cat were amazing travel buddies + were so much fun to be around. We had never really travelled with fellow photographers before and I must say that Iceland was the perfect place. There was always something to photograph + it would sometimes take us an entire day to go 100 kms. I'm surprised we actually made it around the country in 7 days. Thanks for taking us up on our offer Jeff + Cat. It's a trip we will never forget.
