When Karly first contacted us about the possibility of photographing her wedding, I had no idea at that time that we would make two fabulous new friends. Mike + I always say that the best part of our job is getting to know our couples…and we have enjoyed every moment we have spent getting to know these two. Karly + Chris are two of the kindest, most genuine, down to earth, full of life people. Spending time with them is always a treat. Karly has the very best laugh + Chris always has a good story to tell…and they are also Saskatchewan Roughrider fans which pretty much means we are friends for life :) They also are the proud parents of their adorable Golden Doodle Mabel…you might remember her from their engagement session. Cutest dog ever!
From the gorgeous sunshine to the amazing vendors, Karly + Chris really did have the most perfect day. I loved everything about this wedding. The color scheme of soft pink + grey, the stunning bouquets + boutonnieres by The Flower Factory, and their choice of venues. The delicious meal by Savoury Chef was served family style rather than plated which I absolutely love! I would have to say the highlight of the day was watching family + friends dance the night away to the amazing Side One. There is nothing quite as good as live music + these guys are the best! Oh and instead of a cake they opted for the delicious, home made donuts from Cartems Donuterie. ummmm yes please! And we must give a shout out to the lovely Briar from Epic Events for designing such a beautiful wedding + making sure the day was flawless. She did an amazing job! We loved getting to spend the day with Karly + Chris and the people that mean that most to them. It could not have been a more perfect way to kick off our wedding season!
